I have four traction tires on this AF 342 loco. I added the additional set to the front wheels. It is a little brute. It has a drawbar pull of 1 1/2 pounds!
The front hole in the side rods must be filled in to eliminate the elongation so there is no slop and the quartering carefully checked to get the smoothest operation.
Note that this loco also has my geared DC Can motor conversion.
